From Pinhão the “pipas” departed on the Rabelo Boats bound for the Vila Nova de Gaia cellars (Porto). It is one of the most central villages in the Douro Demarcated Region. It is here that most of the “Quintas” that produce Port wine are located.

Parish of Moura Morta origins are very old, it has been inscribed in the annals of history as a very important place in the region once. The name of this parish is said to have derived from the legend of a Moorish princess murdered here by the Templars for refusing to deny her faith and embrace the Christianity.
It is in baixo Corgo that we find the village of Cumieira. The walk is through vineyards, fruit trees, passing through Ribeira and ends at the Santa Bárbara viewpoint, a unique place to view the Douro and Vila Real city.
